Best Magic Tricks Apps
What you'll find in this article...
So you want to be a magician do you? Luckily you live in a digital age and your dreams of astounding your friends and relatives is easier than any other time in history.
Not so long ago, if you wanted to be a magician you needed to study a master one on one, or buy some cheap newsletter for $8.95 that was listed in the back of some lame magazine. Wow, have times changed.
Now there are all kinds of YouTube channels and Apps dedicated to the teaching of Magic to anyone who takes the time to watch and learn.
And that’s one of the reasons I decided to write this article. The amount of apps and videos is a little overwhelming. And when I first started looking I had no idea where to begin.
So rather you go through the same overwhelm as I did, I decided to write this article explaining the best magic apps I found so you don’t need to weed through all of the garbage.
So let’s get to it…Here are my Top picks for the best trick apps available now…
Magic Amino
Although this is an “app” and I think it is the very best place to start your magician career, I’ll explain more because it is an app, and not an app.
Okay, first the tech…Magic Amino is both iOS and Android compatible app which is great.
Second, this is a completely free app.
Third, it is SOooo much more than just any old magic app.
This is actually a kind of Facebook for magicians.
Yeah, it magician social network, and the creators have actually done a really nice job with it.
There are all kinds of communities, people sharing their own tips and tricks and tick instructional videos and pictures.
But what makes Magic Amino really special is that you can connect with other like minded people, all passionate about magic.
You can chat with them, ask questions, find out about news or events that are going on, like I said, a proper “Facebook” for magicians. And all free.
So this is definitely where I’d tell my best friend to start if he asked. And I am telling you too, get this app, downloaded and start interacting and learning.
Magic Tricks Pro – Magic Trick Video Lessons
This is a good app for any magic student looking to master the craft and just needs a few videos to explain the tricks more in depth. There are a lot of tricks that are easily understandable through videos.
BUT, there is a catch. Two really.
First, this app is only compatible with Apple iOs products, no Android.
Second, although it is a “Free” app, many of the tricks inside the app need to be purchased through the app. Most of the tricks only cost like 99 cents, but honestly, if you do some more digging you can either find a good blog, YouTube channel or another app that can teach you the same trick for free.
But because this app does make money, the content is very well done. And for someone starting out and wants to learn their magic at their own pace, this is a solid app.
Again, a bit restrictive, but otherwise solid. So Learn Easy card tricks here.
MagicSAM
If you don’t already know, there is actually a “Society” for American magicians know as SAM (Society of American Magicians).
And not to be left out, they have also created an app of their own that is a bit like Magic Amino in that it will give you news and event updates, and teach you magic.
Although it lacks the “social”aspect of MA, it is still a great app that even lets you take your picture with Houdini!
And like all of the other apps listed, there is a nice selection of tutorial videos explaining how to do everything from coin tricks to your favorite card tricks.
It won’t be long before you start to amaze your friends with this app.
Conclusion
Okay, so this is the wrap up. Time to take a bow and leave the stage.
I hope you decide to use one of these apps as I think they are the best magic trick apps available at this time. They’ll definitely help you speed up your career as a magician.
What about you, do you a an app I should know about? Leave me a comment and I’ll check it out!
